Devlog 1: Going Forward
Hey Everyone and anyone reading, it's Natalie!
I've been talking with the 3D artist of this project Confused Phoenix and we've both agreed that we should give another update to this project. However, we also agree that we do not want this project to become a time sink for our other projects that we have more interest in, so we have decided on one more feature update that will add the final few things that both of us would like implemented before I start supporting this project purely through bug fixes. The features for this update are as follows:
- Updates and fixes to the player's movement.
- An intro / outro with a tutorial included inside the game, instead of relying on the Itch.io description.
- Fixes to the monster's AI and pathing.
- Credits.
As of time of writing, 1/4 of these features are entirely built, and 3/4 are designed, but have not begun to be implemented. I expect the update to be released around Early to middle December, time permitting.
Thanks for reading! To follow development a bit more closely, be sure to follow CP and I on Twitter! The brilliant subtitle font used on the cover is from the amazing Chevy Ray's Pixel Fonts pack right here on itch! If you're a game developer or any sort of content creator where you use a lot of pixel text, get this, they're all amazing! Thank you, and have a good day.
